Meet Jim & Melonie Barber
We're having fun together in our Third-Third of life!
We consider ourselves deeply blessed to be part of a beautifully blended family, a journey born out of both heartache and hope. A little over a decade ago, Jim faced the profound loss of being widowed, while Melonie navigated the challenges of divorce. When our paths crossed and we married during the pandemic of 2020, our lives - and hearts - expanded in ways we never could have imagined, joining Jim's daughter with Melonie's eight children to form a family of nine! Now, as grateful empty-nesters, we look back with wonder at how God's blessings and love can heal, rebuild, and create something entirely new. We look forward with excitement to the fresh possibilities this next season of life holds for us!
Now in our mid-60's, we are stepping into what we like to call the "third-third" of our lives. We are filled with a renewed sense of purpose and excitement, and we want to share that with our friends around the world! After years of performing, creating, and sharing our talents in Branson, Missouri, we now have the freedom to take our passion on the road - bringing joy, laughter, and a little bit of inspiration wherever we go!
Our 44 foot Newell Coach motorhome, affectionately named The Barber Bus, isn't just a way to travel; it's a rolling stage, a creative hub, and a reminder that life is meant to be lived fully! Painstakingly restored by Simon Kotsailidis, we are honored to be the new caretakers of this beautiful motor coach. Every mile we drive represents new opportunities to share comedy, music, and connection with people from all walks of life. This chapter isn't about slowing down; it's about leaning in - into creativity, into service, and into the beautiful unknown that waits just beyond the next bend in the road!
